Just Be, Sometimes

Be the best version of “YOU.” Sometimes, remember to recalibrate, refocus, and renew yourself! Your services, your business, and your brand require your BEST. Before you can be anything for your client, be for yourself! If I cannot provide 100% for my clients, then I should choose to say it. Everyone has options, you are not the only option but you want to be their only option as a result of your commitment to providing the best efforts. Leave nothing to be desired and you will lack nothing.

Just Be, Sometimes

Burnout

Burnout is real! If you’ve ever worked, then you know it to be true. Why do we pressure ourselves to do so much? We are finite beings, we can choose to say, “I’ve had enough.” Employers don’t focus on our well-being, that is our choice to decide. Learn to say it, “I’m tired and I need some time off.” Otherwise, you will continue to push your well-being aside for one more day, one more dollar.

Help yourSELF!

Remembering to Make Time for My Family

Lately, I have become more focused on goals and aspirations than family. Working two jobs, it became a lifestyle. It starts rocky and becomes a breeze, then it became an obsession.

Most recently, I have scaled back on my hours worked at my second job. Spent more time with my wife and family, it has been beyond amazing. It is so easy to get lost in trying to achieve, don’t forget why you want to achieve what you’re trying to achieve.

Feeling Cramped!

Life has always been meant to live free of encumbrances. I do not desire to stifle myself or others. However, people make people feel cramped in many situations, knowingly and unknowingly. Sometimes, they do it to protect the person. In other instances, they do it to protect themselves. Introspection is powerful. Use it to search the deepest depths of self. All can be overcome, remembering the innate qualities is not free. It requires A LOT of patience and questioning. Be yourself, irrevocably and unapologetically.

Don’t let people CRAMP you! Don’t CRAMP yourself!

Sometimes, we sit idly by due to fear of what has not happened. Don’t be okay, make yourself as uncomfortable as you need to be.

Do not be afraid to ever believe in yourself and what you can offer to the world...

Leaning Into Each Task!

Sometimes, the amount of work required to accomplish a goal, it seems very intimidating. However, if you are willing to do the work and learning, you become successful. A lot of people say it takes 10,000 hours to master anything. I say one task at a time because every completed task is a step towards something. And I do not want to keep counting the hours. Rather than counting the hours, I prefer “Leaning Into Each Task,” so I can stay wholly focused on the goal not the time.

That is all for today! Hope you enjoy the little blog post of my thought for today.

Remember: “Make connections.” “Expect good things.”

Blog Post #4: Review of Tips and Tools for the week of June 29- July 3

Last week’s theme for tips and tools, and information was very informative. We focused exclusively on the importance of business resources for small business owners and entrepreneurs. We determined these business resources play a significant part in all business types. On Monday, June 29th, we started with listing business resources to provide new and existing SBOs and Entrepreneurs with a starting point. Business resources fall into one of five broad categories, such as the following: 1) Physical; 2) Human; 3) Financial; 4) Emotional; 5) Educational. I provided a link to a very informative article on these five business resources. Truly, you cannot diminish each business resource’s importance.

The following day, June 30th, I wanted small business owners and entrepreneurs to understand two things about business resources. First, “Resources are more than money.” Secondly, “Be certain, you possess or can acquire plenty of resources for any endeavor.” These two statements are important and should be noted as such. By Wednesday, it was a tip to improve our chances of success, as SBOs and Entrepreneurs. Understanding how important resources can be to small business owners and entrepreneurs, it was important to ask each person, “What is a valuable resource?” And you know how to maintain these resources.

Finally, the final tip for the week encompassed proper planning, benefits of resources, and resources will matter. “You have choices!” In conclusion, you need resources and resources are available. One will always need proper planning, issues affect resources, and do not wait until you have no other choice. Get ahead of the situation through proper planning with your business resources. Expect good things!

* Next week, we will look at “Work- Life Balance” and how it might be improved. Stay tuned.

“Be humble. Be kind. Make connections.”

“How can we move forward?”

“Expect good things.”
